 | Illegal fishing practices in the Philippines are having a very large effect on the Filipino economy as well as the local areas. With fish stock levels dropping by around 70% over the last 50 years, governments are getting tougher and tougher on correctly policing illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing in south east Asian. I aim to create a 30-40 minute documentary highlighting various aspects of the trade. As well as looking into the effects that this trade has on the local area. |
