Risk and Dependencies
There are various risks involved in this documentary, especially as it is being filmed abroad:
The Risks:
- Filming out at sea
- Communication barriers
- Water damaged equipment
- Equipment not working abroad
- Possibly working around explosives
- Illegal fishing activities
Dependencies
- Will be relying on my relatives out there for translations.
- Financial backing.
- Making contact with the British Embassy
Ethics:
- I will ensure to get the correct release forms when filming, as well as making sure they fully understand the form due to language barriers
- I will not portray subject's and/or their beliefs, traditions or lifestyles in a negative
- Everyone I film has a right to reply
- I will not manipulate my subjects
- Both "health and safety" and risk assessment form will be signed off by the university
